The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Strategist who can keep our channels buzzing and mindshare high. You’ll craft daily heartbeat content, architect launch narratives, and ship threads and explainers that turn attention into action. Your style is sharp, humorous, and culturally aware; you know CT’s unwritten rules and how to earn trust. This isn’t a box ticking social, it’s a growth engine tied to product adoption and community conviction.
What You Will Do
- Strategic planning: Build a cutting-edge social strategy aligned to brand narrative and growth KPIs; define platform roles (X first), content pillars per audience, and KOL mix.
- Market knowledge: Track DeFi trends, new narratives, and competitor plays to surface timely content opportunities and partnership angles.
- Content creation: Own daily posts and integrated campaigns for launches, partner announcements, and tech updates (threads, posts, visuals, infographics, animations).
- Explainers & education: Translate complex mechanisms into crisp, meme-literate storytelling that educates, entertains, and converts.
- Channel management: Prioritize X; experiment with Spaces, podcasts, AMAs, newsletters, and emergent formats.
- Project management: Maintain a forward content calendar for visibility and fast approvals; keep stakeholders aligned.
- Community growth: Propose and run tactics that activate new and existing audiences; collaborate on co-marketing and ecosystem pushes.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing, ecosystem, and engineering to ensure narrative accuracy and source raw content.
- Measurement: Report weekly/monthly on performance; iterate toward engagement, reach, CTR, and conversion targets.
Requirements
- DeFi social experience: You’ve run socials for a DeFi project or viral crypto profile; hands-on content shipping is your default.
- Channel mastery: Deep best-practice knowledge across X and adjacent channels; comfort with threads, carousels, Spaces, and video.
- DeFi native: Power-user instincts; you use products, understand risks, and can explain mechanisms simply.
- CT culture: Memes, narratives, meta — you get it and can ride cycles without losing credibility.
- Product appreciation: Ability to work with engineering/product to depict mechanisms precisely and persuasively.
- Collaboration: Proven cross-functional execution; you turn stakeholder input into shippable content.
- Communication: Exceptional written English; other languages are a plus.
- Adaptability: Comfortable juggling multiple campaigns with high attention to detail.
- Bias to action: Proactively spot growth opportunities and run smart experiments.
