Role Overview
The DevOps Engineer will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure powering Foundations United’s decentralized systems. From cloud environments to blockchain node management, you’ll solve complex challenges in scalability, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cloud infrastructure for dApps, APIs, and blockchain nodes
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for secure deployments
- Maintain observability stacks (logs, metrics, alerts)
- Automate provisioning using Terraform or similar tools
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot performance issues
- Implement security best practices and backups
- Support on-chain releases and smart contract deployments
Requirements
- 5+ years in DevOps or SRE roles
- Experience running Ethereum nodes and blockchain indexers
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform)
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or similar platforms
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RPC infrastructure, relayers, or validators
- Exposure to Hardhat, Foundry, or smart contract CI tooling
- Contributions to open-source Web3 infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with load testing, chaos engineering, or ZK systems
